A Ghoulish Wednesday

Wednesday evening, we ventured to downtown St. Augustine to partake in an investigation of "unexplained paranormal phenomena", in other words a Ripley's Ghost Train Tour! I took about 400 pictures in the dark and did not catch one glimpse of light or an "orb". We heard "ghost" stories and tales of spirits haunting Old St. Augustine. I don't know if I believe all the hoopla what was being fed to us but I definately had a good time with Travis and the kids!

Daddy's Day

Yesterday was Father's Day, my third without my dad. I think about him everyday, but especially recently. I have been having dreams of him, heard several songs that I usually don't hear that remind me of him. I mean, when was the last time you heard "play that funky music white boy" on the radio!? I know he is in a better place but it's hard not to miss someone you loved so unconditionally!

On a lighter note, we had an awesome day at the river with Travis' dad, mom, brother, sister in law and all the kids! The kids got pulled behind the boat on the new raft their Papa and Mimi bought them, swam in the pool and finished off the day with a feast...low country boil! I hope all the dads had a great Father's Day!

I really don't like messy things and especially things or stuff that is sticky, but I just thought this was the funniest thing ever. Travin really enjoyed his chocolate dipped ice cream cone!

Celebrate Good Times!!!

My little sister, Ashlee, graduated from PK Yonge on Friday night. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments, she will be moving to Mayfield, Kentucky to attend Mid-Continent University on a volleyball scholarship in August. It has been her dream to play college ball, and now she is finally getting to fufill that dream. I wish her the best of luck in this new journey she is starting.
